NPN (National Producer Number)
A National Producer Number (NPN) is a unique ID assigned to every licensed insurance producer and agency in the U.S. It lets you verify that the person or agency you're working with is properly licensed. You can look it up through the national NIPR database.
Why it matters
Checking an NPN lets you confirm your Utah agent is genuinely licensed before you trust them with your coverage.
