Waiver of Subrogation

A waiver of subrogation is a policy provision in which your insurer agrees not to seek reimbursement from a third party after paying a claim. It's often required in contracts so partners don't end up sued by each other's insurers. It's typically added through an endorsement.

Why it matters

Many Utah commercial contracts require this waiver, so having it lets you sign the agreement without a coverage holdup.
